We were recently asked by a local publication to outline some of the bathroom fixture industry’s latest trends. Here is a list of our noted trends this year so far. Come see these in person at Immerse in Brentwood.

BainUltra's Evanescence Oval Tub

Bath industry professionals are seeing a continued interest in the “soft minimalist” style. Transitional lines and rounded edges often characterize this, as seen in Bain Ultra’s Evanescence tub.

“Industrial” is another category that is still going strong. Watermark’s Elan Vital collection with its exposed fittings and flanges help characterize this style.

Elan Vital also highlights another trend we are experiencing; customization. This faucet line can be altered – spout lengths and faucet heights are just the beginning of how you can make this faucet your own!

Furniture Guild customizable bathroom furniture

Customization is also prevalent in The Furniture Guild’s vanities. The Winston, for example, is offered in 7 different configurations, over 50 finishes, has several countertop options, coordinating mirrors, and can be accessorized with power outlets, hair dryer holders and more.

Brizo Black matte and silver, two tone faucet

Split finish faucet by Brizo

As far as faucet colors, we are finally specifying lots of brass tones (uncoated, satin, and aged), as well as golds and bronzes. Polished nickel continues to also dominate, and is actually replacing brushed nickel!

We are just starting to sell matte black, a color that has been popular on the coasts for quite some time. Split finishes, shown here on the Brizo Rook, are also trending.
